Called family members after skip tracing and ALL I DID WAS INQUIRE ABOUT A LOAN - beware!

I applied for a loan and all I did was give an email and phone number. I received an email saying they couldn't reach me by phone, but what comes next is absolutely mortifying. I also received an email from my MOM that they'd called and left a msg on my parents' voicemail. I did NOT give them my parents' phone number. I haven't used that number in over 20 years. All I did was fill out an online app for more info, that's it! And they tracked down and bothered my parents who I now have to explain to at the age of 40+ why I need a debt consol loan. Unethical - if this is what they do when you just ask for more info, I cannot imagine how they are as a company. No way in hell I'd trust this company.
