The pet store area is well stocked and recently remodeled, looks good. They have a well arranged inventory covering essentially all of my pet needs, as well as having a sense of decency, such as supporting animal charities and helping find homes for pets in need. I would have to give the pet store a four out of five stars overall. I would, however, like to mention to veterinary clinic attached to the store. Granted I have only had one experience on which to base my opinion, but I have to express a fair amount of disappointment. I was there to unfortunately euthanize my beloved pet. My teen child was also there to see him off. The staff overall was compassionate and supportive, though the vet seemed rushed bordering on impersonal. The whole process took less than three minutes. He was professional, but he seemed to be lacking in his bedside manner. As a medical professional myself, I understand how on any given day, case load, stress level, and other factors can interfere with how we are perceived. When we later relayed our unsettled feelings, we were met with defensiveness. Overall, not a positive experience.
