I retained Modify Law Group/ Eric T. Smith (modifylawgroup.com) on March 28 2009 for the purpose of getting me a Mortgage loan modification; I paid him a 50% deposit in the amount of $1247.50
The person that took my information affiliated with Modify Law Group Is Bee McConnell,
Bee McConnell Formally Worked for I Net Realty (949) 272-0599 and is a member of the orange County Association of Realtors.
I was told that getting me the loan modification would only take six to eight weeks, after questioning the amount of time it was taking on about the first week of October 2009 all communication with Modify Law Group and its associates came to an end, All phone numbers I had for Modify law Group were no longer in service and the E-mail addresses as well. The phone numbers form there web site had been removed along with the bar number of Eric T. Smith also the web link to the Better Business Bureau had been removed.
I have since had to make new arrangement with my mortgage lender and at this point I am unsure if I will be able to save my home.
After doing some investigative work of my own I have discovered that Eric Theodore Smith bar # 133287 is running a net of Loan Modification Scam Businesses. Along with an attorney named Christopher Leslie Persaud bar # 262620
