Dog died at this facility
|
This was a first come first service veterinary service until the end of the 2015. Dog got there at 4:30 and we had to wait outside for two hours, even though it was an emergency. I guess the Vet, Pressley, didn't know it was an emergency because there is no form to fill out when you get there. We were told that the 4 year old beautiful Husky that was well the day before would have to stay the night. Two hours later they called and said it died. Had no explanation and no paperwork to substantiate anything. When we went to get it the next day. They put it in a large blue garbage bag. I was made to parade out through the lobby with the dead dog in a garbage bag, the lobby had many people with animals in it. Had to pay and received no paperwork. A few days later we went to talk to the vet. We made an appointment. After waiting 15 minutes, they asked us to leave without anything. I said no. They called the police and the police made them talk to us. No paperwork and a total lack of concern. I demanded paperwork, so they said I could pick it up the next day. When I arrived at the appointed time, I was then told I could pick it up at the Woodfin police station. Really?...I was never rude or belligerent or vulgar at any time. These people are truly awful. Disorganized and careless, they should close before they kill more dogs. Try going through something like that with a dog you really loved.
