I also want to thank everyone who posted a review on this firm.
After reading all the same scenarios that everyone else went through, knowing that I was about to go through the same thing, totally made me change my mind. The total amount of $3,000 to "help" me (even being broke down into two $1497 payments) sounded fishy to me to begin with - red flag number one. Then they told me that my first "new" mortgage payment would happen anywhere from 30 to 90 days - red flag number two. And, they didn't even know what my exact payment would be - just a ballpark figure. I thought, wait a minute, I'm here because I need help with my mortgage payments. You're telling me that I have to come up with $3,000 that obviously I don't have, and that my payment won't be lowered for another possible 3 months? So, I'm out $3,000 and still making the same mortgage payment for probably the next 3 months. How is that helping me?
Something told me to check here. Even though (like another reviewer stated) they're supposed to be an A+ with the BBB. My gut feeling told me to double check that. I'm so glad I did. Thank you everyone for saving me the heartaches.
